Welcome to the new Forest Schools web site!

Thank you for taking the time to visit the Forest Schools site. For those of you who have visited the site before we hope that this new site is straightforward and easier to use.

For those who are new visitors we hope you will find this site useful as a resource and information source on everything to do with Forest Schools. We are currently re-writing the Forest Schools directory. If you would like to have your project or Forest School added to the map please email us with the relevant details.

This web site is run and maintained by Archimedes Training and is intended as a general information source for Forest Schools. If you think we are missing something please email us to let us know!

If you are interested in delivering some kind of Forest Schools activities then there are a range of training courses available to suit your experiences and needs enabling you to participate in Forest Schools. The OCN Forest School Practitioners Awards start from entry level NVQ and continue up to the OCN Level 3 NVQ which is designed for you to set up and run your own Forest School.

Undertaking the Forest Schools Practitioner or Assistant Practitioner will enable you to motivate and inspire groups and individuals to enjoy the outdoors in a safe and nurturing environment whilst providing a unique learning experience
