Maternity Action was formerly known as Maternity Alliance (1980-2005) an organisation which ceased operating in Dec 2005 though its website remained in existence after this date. The website was taken over c.2009 by Maternity Action - a new organisation which wanted to continue the work of Maternity Alliance. Please see the separate listing under Maternity Alliance for earlier versions of this site.
