This AHRC-funded project provides information on the availability of records relating to non-governmental organisations and pressure groups active in the UK since 1945. The main project ran until October 2007, and is being continued by the new Leverhulme-funded project NGOs in Britain. The project is administered by the University of Birmingham's Centre for Contemporary Governance and Citizenship in the UK (CenConUK). Launched in January 2005, CenConUK aims to provide a focus for research in all areas of contemporary British history.
