The Freedom Association is a libertarian right-wing pressure group, promoting national independence and strong defence, free markets and a reduced role for government, and personal responsibility under the rule of law. The Association was jointly established by the twin brothers Norris and Ross McWhirter, and Conservative politician Viscount De L"Isle. The current name was adopted in 1979.
