The TAPin project sought to improve the quality of teaching and research staff output by identifying staff information needs, and developing their information skills. It aimed to emphasise to the end-user academics, and thus ultimately to the students, the benefits which can be gained by an understanding and awareness of networked information resources appropriate to specific disciplines. Project funding: Training and Awareness area of the Electronic Libraries (eLib) Programme. Project dates not known. The archived instance is not the original project site, which has disappeared, but a page from the archive of completed project reports at the UCE"s Centre for Information Research (CIRT).
