The aim of the ENCORE project was to enable both staff and students to access the wide range of available internal and external electronic resources in ways both simple and intuitive. Further, to support the personalisation and enhanced functionality of these resources for academic and educational purposes. The project delivered a generic toolkit to link digital library and VLE/MLE development based on Open URL standards; an Oracle database file and series of scripts to interface with the database. Funding Programme: Linking Digital Libraries with VLEs (DiVLE) Programme. Project dates: 1 Oct 2002 - 31 Jul 2003.
