MIDRIB was intended as a comprehensive collection of medical images in digital form, for use in teaching and research, in medical and healthcare faculties of Universities and teaching hospitals. The project was intended to draw together the best of existing collections into a coherent resource within a single point of reference. The sites as archived contains no digitised images, but does include a full description of the project. Funding Programme: Images area of the Electronic Libraries Programme (eLib) Programme. Project dates: started May 1997.
