The Centre for Policy Studies (CPS) is a right-wing think tank championing economic liberalism, UK independence and reduced State expenditure. Although independent, the CPS emerged out of the Conservative party's New Right in the 1970s. It was founded by Margaret Thatcher and Keith Joseph, and was closely related to the 1980s Thatcherite revolution.
